QGIS STAC Client Plugin

To promote open access to its Planetary Computer, Microsoft enlisted Kartoza to create a QGIS plugin. This plugin facilitates the exploration of geospatial data from various providers that adhere to the STAC API specification, including the Microsoft Planetary Computer itself.

STAC API Browser provides a simple and user-friendly approach in searching and using STAC API resources in QGIS. It offers a comfortable way to browse the STAC API items and ability to add the STAC API assets as map layers into the QGIS application.
